Well•Spring Services, Inc., has entered into an agreement with the Guilford County Adult Center for Enrichment to integrate ACE’s services into the recently formed Well•Spring Services program.

ACE joins the Well•Spring Retirement Community, an accredited not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Greensboro, and PACE of the Triad, also in Greensboro. Well•Spring Services, Inc., is dedicated to exceeding the needs of an evolving population of older adults. The combination of these organizations immediately broadens the scope of services available to Guilford County’s diverse population of older adults. Over 700 individuals are currently served by Well•Spring Services, Inc., with plans for continued growth.

ACE offers three Adult Day Centers, three Group Respite sites, CarePartners at Home, and Caregiver Education. Both the Adult Day Centers and Group Respite sites engage participants in on-site activities, such as art and music, providing fun and friendship while encouraging their independence in a safe environment.

The program’s participants spend from one to five days per week at one of the three centers, which are located at Bardolph Center and Caldwell House in Greensboro and River Landing in High Point. ACE has recently purchased property on Henry Street near Church Street in Greensboro for a fourth day center. The new center will provide therapy and hygiene services in addition to the personal care, health surveillance, assessment and RN-supervised nursing services currently offered at the three centers.

ACE also focuses on how to provide caregivers with what they need to care for their loved ones at home through Caregiver Education. CarePartners at Home, an in-home volunteer respite program, gives caregivers invaluable time and expands the life of their loved one in a familiar setting.

The flagship of Well•Spring Services, Inc. is Well•Spring Retirement Community, which is celebrating its 20th year serving its residents. Well•Spring is the only continuing care retirement community in Guilford County accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities/Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CARF/CCAC). Founded in 1985, it is the nation’s only accrediting body for continuing care retirement communities.

Another member of Well•Spring Services, Inc., is PACE of the Triad, an agency committed to the wellness of older adults and to improving the autonomy and quality of their lives. Located on East Cone Boulevard, PACE has doctors, nurses, therapists, dietitians, social workers, pharmacists, personal care aides and activity staff who work as a team to help individuals in need of skilled nursing but who want to remain in their home or community setting and receive quality care.
