When you think of Central Park, you might think of the Big Apple. While King is about as far removed from the Big Apple as you can get, its Central Park is no less appealing to its residents. Located in the heart of the small town of King, Central Park is a peaceful and beautiful 25-acre natural park. It opened in the fall of 2001 and the natural wooded area provides visitors a peaceful spot to enjoy nature. The park’s centerpiece is a large outdoor amphitheater that can be rented for events and programs, as well as two picnic shelters which are also available for rent. There is a historic 18th century log cabin and an outdoor kitchen, which makes for a unique and very interesting feature and adds to the park’s charm. Numerous walking trails can be explored and there is a pond with a small fishing deck for some catch-and-release.
This is a wonderful amenity for the residents of The Village at Maple Leaf Farm by Nova Triad Homes. Located just a short drive north of Winston-Salem, this community offers a peaceful retreat with outstanding, award-winning home designs with attached oversized two-car garages and private courtyards. Residents have the space they need to relax as well as entertain without having to worry about yard work and landscaping. Spend more time enjoying the Southern charm of King.
