Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors

Behavior is a powerful form of communication and is one of the primary ways people living with dementia communicate their needs and feelings as the ability to use language is lost. However, some behaviors can present real challenges for caregivers to manage. Join us as a representative from the Western NC Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association discusses how to decode behavioral messages, identify common triggers, and strategies to help manage some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Registration is required as lunch will be provided. https://www.well-springsolutions.org/registration/

Please let us know if you need respite care for your loved one during this time as prior arrangements are required one week prior to the workshop. Caregiver Education sessions are offered at no charge, with contributions graciously accepted.
