Juniper Level Botanic Garden and Plant Delights Nursery (9241 Sauls Road, Raleigh) will open this summer for public viewing and plant purchases on July 23-25.
At the Summer Open Garden event the garden will give away “pads” of prickly pear cactus to visitors. The garden has more than 150 prickly pear cactus varieties, one of the largest collections in the world.
Garden hours are 8-5 PM, Friday and Saturday. Sunday hours are 1-5 PM. Admission is free. The garden is gift to NC State University.
