Cambridge Village of Apex: Garden Club
The Garden at Cambridge Village of Apex is a favorite with residents and visitors. It is one of the only communities in Southwest Wake County with a garden club. “We have had a garden here for many years and it is a much beloved feature in our community,” said Alison Bailey, Lifestyle Director.
The colorful garden is more than a beautiful display of nature. It is a meaningful way to spend time outside in a living, breathing space and gives residents a purpose and focus. The garden keeps residents active and engaged as they care for flowers such as columbine, lantanas, petunias and other varieties that mingle among vegetables such as everyone’s favorite – the tomato – perfect for a tomato sandwich in the summer.
