Special Feature – Happy 103rd Birthday to Jean Lane of Heritage Greens
This past week, Retirement Resource Guide visited Heritage Greens in Greensboro for a very special party. Jean Lane, a community resident who was born in 1920 near Burlington, celebrated her 103rd birthday. Jean said her secret to longevity has been clean living, spending time with people, and visiting the beach. “I’ve had a happy life,” she said, “I really have.”
The party was held on Friday, October 6th with a “Roaring Twenties” theme. Residents enjoyed dancing, live music, and delicious cake. Jean was touched by the pleasant surprise and enjoyed spending time with her friends, neighbors, and staff.
