Many of us have felt that life has been on perpetual “HOLD” since spring of 2020. The summer of 2021 welcomes the beginnings of our return to normalcy as things begin to blossom…restaurants allowing indoor seating, entertainment venues scheduling shows and signs of renewed life emerging at an ever-accelerating rate. While we continue to exercise a healthy caution in public spaces, we all welcome the return to life as we know it!

With this renewal comes a fresh perspective on retirement and the central North Carolina area has never looked so good. The blessings bestowed upon those of us so lucky to live in North Carolina were accentuated by the pandemic with our many outdoor parks, proximity to the mountains and coast, and our wonderful year-round climate making the great out-of-doors accessible year-round. With the pandemic forever etched in our minds, going forward, how we live will be as important as where we live. We have more wonderful housing options for retirees and pre-retirees than ever before from luxury rentals to low maintenance single family homes and 55+ communities to our fabulous, resort-inspired independent living and Life Plan communities throughout the area. As we celebrate our return to normalcy, plan to get out and see just what our local housing industry has to offer. You’ll be amazed … we promise.
